Dear friends,

See you soon,

"Modern, pre-historic jazz from a mysterious Scandinavian angle, with swedish birds fluttering and ghostly womanlike cries coming up from under the floor boards; cries of whisper; men in mental wheel-chairs tries to stand up, calling U out with horns and pikes - sing with us U lovely bastards!! Reach out from Ljubljana´s apartments and from stiffining thoughts.!Play! Be! Say NO!!! Say YES! And NO again! The NEED is in us! Cut the the disinformation campagain, imposed by Pop culture! We are truly desperate for each other! And We dont need any Stars no more! JoIn us at the bridge! Meet up at the hall!"
The second press conference (that is the formal one) took place in the CD Club to announce the forthcoming 52nd Ljubljana Jazz Festival. The Festival selector, Bogdan Benigar, first thanked the sponsors and then talked about a series of new features in this year’s program.
Despite its enviably advanced age, the Ljubljana Jazz Festival still strives towards integration with the very hub of contemporary world jazz arena.
We take great pleasure in the fact that a historically unparalleled bloom of jazz music has been detected in various parts of the world. A new British wave has formed, and the Scandinavian jazz is still advancing more rapidly than the oil pumps in Norway.
